1. Open the Camera Buddy app.

  2. Click the “Batch” button to analyze images from a folder. Camera Buddy is able to navigate through a folder with a sub structure.   

  3. Assign a folder location.

  4. Click the “Start” button to begin analyzing the images.  

  5. Camera Buddy will now analyze all the images in your folder for glasses glare. The speed it detects is determined by the number of detection threads you choose in the Settings and the processing power of your computer. 

  6. Once your images have been analyzed, you’ll see this screen:

    1. List of Images Detected: Here you’ll find a list of images that have been scanned by Camera Buddy Batch glare detection. From this list, you can see an expanded view of each image, and toggle its selection status. You are able to navigate through the list while in expanded view by using the buttons next, next glare, previous, and previous glare:

    2. Export a CSV list. By clicking this button, you can download a CSV list of the glare detection results onto your computer.

    3. Select: All, None, and Glare. Use these buttons to control the images that are selected in your list. 

    4. With Selected Images: Send to 36Pix, you can send your selected images directly to us for glare removal by using our 36Pix Desktop App.  

      1. Make sure your selection includes all the images you want to send 36Pix for your glare repair.

      2. Click the “Send to 36Pix” button. This will prompt you to save a .36pix file onto your computer. Save this on your desktop or somewhere easily accessible. You’ll need it in the next step. The text file will automatically open on your computer. You can close it and move onto the next step. 

      3. Log into the 36Pix Desktop App and choose “Upload.” This will bring you to the 36Pix Desktop App upload page. If you do not have the 36Pix Desktop app, please contact your account rep.  

      4. Create a name for your job, choose the appropriate organization (it’s possible you only have one choice), select Glare Correction as your profile. This will force the priority to be DIY for glare jobs. 

      5. Drag and drop the .36pix file into the upload space. This will tell the Desktop App which files to fetch from your computer and their location.

      7. Once you see your JPG or PNG files in the Desktop App, click the “Upload” button and your job will begin to process.Once your upload is complete, you’ll see this screen. 36Pix has received your images and you’ll be able to download the images with glare repaired images in 48 business hours. 

    5. Statistics: On the right side of the Camera Buddy Studio screen, you’ll see a section for statistics. Here you’ll find a breakdown of your percentage of glasses glare in the batch analyzed.
