1. By clicking on the Settings button, you can customize the way Camera Buddy analyzes your images for glasses glare.

    1. Detection Threshold: This will tell Camera Buddy the severity of glasses glare it should be looking for. Note: Threshold only looks at the size of the glare, not the opacity.

    2. Audio Notification: Toggle audio notifications on or off. When turned on, Camera Buddy will alert you with a sound if it has detected glare.

    3. Popup Notification: Toggle popup notifications on or off.  This popup will prevent moving forward until the notification is cleared.  This can be used for trainees and new photographers, as well as people shooting with full screen tethering software. Camera Buddy gives you the option of setting the time that the notification will stay on the screen. It is programmable in one second intervals from 1 to 15 seconds.

    4. Worker Thread:  This is used when batching images, and will tell Camera Buddy how many detection threads to run simultaneously.  You can customize this from 1 to 32.  Processing speed is limited to the computer running Camera Buddy, but you can use this to dedicate more processor power to detection.

    5. Manage License: Click here to manage your Camera Buddy license.

    6. Updates: You can choose to toggle automatic updates on (recommended) or click the “Update” button to manually update the software.

    7. Logs: Click this button to check your Camera Buddy logs. If you have any issues with the app and need to contact customer support, we recommend attaching these log files along with your request.
